Manufacturing Requirement Planning Integration
The first integrated solution given to the manufacturing industry was known as Manufacturing Requirement Planning (MRP). MRP used to integrate the information flow within a particular department or between various departments and helped to organize different productive processes. erp systems slowly evolved from the MRP systems and provide integration solutions at enterprise level.
