Scope of Membership in a Franchise Association
The members of a franchise association could be any players in the franchising scene. It will really all depend on the purpose of the particular association. One association may have just the franchisees of one company under its scope while others may be inclusive of all franchisors and franchisees from different companies. These associations are important as they are a means for both franchisors and franchisees to communicate with each other and with other outside parties. It will all really just depend on the individual missions of each different franchise association that will determine who can join and what it does.
