Select The Correct Seat For Your Seat
Just like any type of bike, an exercise bike can cause a rather uncomfortable dilemma; a sore butt. There are many things you can do to alleviate this problem, but (pardon the pun) the best way is to install the most comfortable seat you can. This isn't as much of a problem on a recumbent bike, as the seats are typically larger and have better support. Good seats are available for uprights though, a simple search for exercise bike parts will turn up many sources, and if you find yourself with a sore - or numb - butt, you may want to search out a better padded seat than what is stock on many bikes. You may find yourself using the bike more if it's more comfortable to ride.
