Some Soundproofing Techniques For a New Home
If you are starting to build a new house, and you want to reduce the noise in your house as much as possible, you can do so by using some soundproofing methods. One of these is to make sure that the doorways are not opposite one another. This will help eliminate the sound from traveling and reverberating around the house. Also you can install some soundproofing mats and absorbent materials on the ceilings and walls to help dampen the sound. To avoid squeaking floors, you can use liquid adhesive to keep it from moving around, thus causing the noise. Installing fiberglass is also helpful in reducing the noise, but quite expensive.
