The easy solution
I am not a lazy person but I think it is very time consuming to have to get up out of the chair to open and close the window blinds, and it is due to this fact that I installed some remote control shades when I redesigned my lounge. They really are a great invention, because now you can control the light in the room very easily without having to move from your chair in the slightest. They can be a bit of an expensive purchase but I think they are worth every penny, simply because they make your life so much easier and save a lot of time.
